Town Council grant supports pilot project

Seaford Town Council has awarded a small grant to support a pilot project between Seaford Medical Practice and Seaford Community Garden.  

The Practice’s Social Prescriber has started to facilitate mindfulness and meditation sessions outside in the community gardens, during the summer months, for patients with depression and anxiety.  Attendance has been good so far; patient feedback is that they are already finding the sessions positive.
